review of Voices of the faithful

I recently recieved a copy of "Voices of the faithful".This is a book of Devotions for every day of the year. The Devotions are compiled by many different Christians all over the world. They challenge us to live passionate, courageous life Jesus had challenged all of us to do.as many missionaries share thier stories in this book.May we always remember to pray for our missionaries.we all share the commonality of having a willingness to go wherever God will send us.God wants us to be awakened and shoken out of our comfort-fit Christianity. As you read these different stories, remember we are to partner with them in Missions whether it be abroad or home where you live.May your heart be renewed through these stories

review of the new Believers Bible by Greg Laurie

This Bible is a great book for the new Christian. It breaks down the scripture a little at a time and makes it easy for the new believer to read and understand the text they are reading. At the beginning of the bible it has the message of Salvation. It then tackles the the secrets of Spiritual success. He likens the need for us to feed ourselves the word of God throught the physical need to eat when we are hungry. It than goes on to talk how it gives us wisdom. This allows to reveal key disciplines of the christian life.it exposes Core believes of christians.

review of the way home

My husband and I recently sat down to watch this movie called the way home.Randy and Christal and their two year old son Joe are a typical american family.Randy is a workaholic.Christal asks Randy to watch Joe for a couple of minutes.Randy becomes distracted by work. When he turns around Joe is gone.Through prayer and concern many people from the community come and help in the search to find the little boy. This movie showed me just how much people do care about others and their willingness to help others.I highly reccomend this movie

my review of Captured by Grace by Dr. David Jeremiah

I have always found many books that have touched on God's grace.I recently recieved Dr.David
Jeremiah new book Captured by Grace.David spoke of how he recieves such Joy studying and writing about Grace.Even though we feel the most unworthy God's Grace is always Unconditional. There is nothing we can do that God's Grace is not available to all of us.When we honestly seek God's Grace it is readly available.Grace covers all of our sins and forgives us.Grace allows us the freedom to forgive others.David touches on the writer John Newton who had originally wrote the words to Amazing Grace. We are unable to fully discover the secret of Grace.Martyn Lloyd-Jones wrote Grace is unmerited kindness or favor to someone who does not deserve it.In chapter two of the book Dr Jeremiah describes the compassionate plan of Grace.Have you ever thought about the word Wretch.I'm sure that noone would like to think of themselves as a wretched person.Dr Jeremiah shares the principals of Grace. This book has lots of bible verses to illustrate the principals of this book.We are able to accept Grace through faith.Grace is given to all who beleive. When you become badly broken and need a miracle. You reach your darkest moment God's Grace finds you.Grace is more powerful than any struggle you may go through. I highly reccomend this book.
