An Amish Harvest

An Amish harvest i was given this book as part of bookbloggers. This a novella of four stories. the first story is about Naomi Dienner . she has become widowed.she is afraid to love again as her husband had been abusive. Naomi's father hires an english man to do the harvest on her farm.Brock begins to do all the farm work.Naomi is to mae his meals everyday. Naomi and Brock begin to develop feelings for each other. This relationship could never be encouraged as he is an English man and she is Amish.they come to a point where they have to make a decision on thier relationship. I loved this story very much.the second story follows Janie Lantz and Johnathan Stoltfuz. johnathan is a buggy driver driving the englishers around when a car collides with the buggy. Janie happens to witness the accident.Johnathan than has to work in the barn until further notice he begins to eat lunch everyday with Janie even though the age difference can they become more than friends loved this story as well.This was a good book overall I would highly reccomend this book and it has four great authors as well.

The Courtship Basket

I was given this book to review from bookloggers. This story follows Rachel Fisher. The Boy Rachel loves decided he wanted to date her best friend. Rachel is totally heartbroken. Rachel than decides to become a teacher for special needs kids.Rachel comes across six-year-old John Lantz,. this little boy has a withdrawn attitude and also has high stress homelife. Rachel she has a hard time reaching the little boy.Rachel loses her temper at john's older brother and his caretaker named mike. rachel feels guilty and starts making meals for the family.Mike has been taking care of his little brother and his ill father. Rachel and mike begin to know each other can they create a good life together I loved this story so much highly reccomend

This book follows Laura Brown who is a teenager that struggles with lots ofdoubt and resentment.Laura has trouble adapting to her dad's new family.Laura decides to hop onto a plane to go to her grown sister's house. without letting anyone know. Laura meets her mother. This book was okay .

I was given this book to review through booksneeze. This story follows Madison. She has been saving her money to adopt ababy. One day Madison's boyfriend steals her money and promptly leaves town. Madison has not heard from him. One day she picks up the newspaper and reads that her ex has died. Madison decides to go to his funeral to try and get back her money that her ex took. While at the graveyard she happens to see her ex standing there. which shocks her.This story has so many twists and turns it.Madison is such a great character.Laurel is such a wonderful author and i would definitly read another book by her

I was given this book to review for Booksneeze.Avelina is a humble maidservant who has been told by her employer to pretend to be the daughter of the Earl. Avelina is to try and capture the attention of the Margrave ofthe Thornbeck. If the Earl is attacked than the Margrave will come to his rescue if he was.meanwhile the Margrave is looking for a suitable wife.Jorgen and his wife Colette devise a plan as to help him find a suitable wife. Avelina does not want the Margrave to fall in love with her. I loved this story and it was written just like a modern love story.

An Unbroken Heart

I was given this book to review. This story follows Joanna Schrock an average Amish girl who has always been in love with her best friend Andrew Beiler.Joanna and her parents were travelling in their buggy and arguing. They did not see the car when it hit them killing both of Joanna's parents and leaving her body badly broken.Joanna is not sure how to handle life without her parents. Andrew asks joanna to marry him and she says yes.But as time comes closer to her wedding day she has second thoughts.Is Andrew marrying her out of love or pity. Joaanna has trouble makingany decisons and she is wracked with guilt over parents death. Overall I enjoyed this story.

I was given this book to review from booksneeze. this story follows a young man named Brent who has come to a small mountain town to start over after his wife who was unfaithful dies. Brent has been burned by church people and does not trust them at all.He than meets Autumn who loves God and horses in that order. I found I had alot of trouble getting into the story. I think it was okay read.
