review of A Simple Prayer by Amy Clipston
I was given a copy of A Simple Prayer by Amy Clipston to review. this story follows AAron Ebersol who left his Amish community at fifteen after much conflict with his dad. Aaron's friend Seth who still lives in the community contacts him to tell him his mom suffers a stroke and she is asking about him. Aaron comes back to the community to see his mom. He had sent letters and checks to his parents but they had never recieved them. Aaron stays at a local bed and breakfast where he meets Linda Zook who lives with her mean uncle. Aaron starts spending some time with Linda and he also learns the secret surrounding the missing letters and can he heal the bad blood his brother has toward him. I absolutely loved this book. The story was so well written. I would rate this book as a 10 out of 10.
